CLIMeter charges a platform fee on developer earnings. Your first $1,000 in lifetime revenue is completely free — 0% fee. After that, 4% applies on earnings above the threshold. Consumers pay per call via a prepaid wallet.

Fee structure
The platform fee is automatically deducted from earnings before payouts. No monthly cost, no upfront fees.

Payout example
Here is how payouts are calculated (once you've crossed the $1,000 free tier threshold):
Consumer pays: $1,000.00 (10,000 calls × $0.10) Stripe processing: -$29.30 (2.9% + $0.30/invoice) CLIMeter fee: -$40.00 (4% — applies after $1,000 free tier) ───────────────────────────── Your payout: $930.70 → transferred via Stripe Connect Effective take-home: ~93% of gross billings
Note
Both the CLIMeter platform fee and Stripe processing fees are deducted from gross billings before payout. Nothing is billed to you separately — consumers pay, fees are deducted, you receive the remainder automatically.

Tool pricing models
Your tool price is set in the dashboard — not in the SDK decorator. CLIMeter supports three pricing models:
